Gears are one of the most important parts of aeg replicas, they are located inside the mechabox an include motor gear, spur gear, sector wheel

The motor gear transfers the engine torque to the spur wheel, which effects the sector wheel that allows the piston to return.

There are many variations of wheels

• high torque wheels (100:300, 100:200) built for very strong springs and are suitable for DMRs
• standard (18:1) found on most standard box guns, great compromise between speed and power
• speed (16:1,13:1,12:1) wheels use fewer teeth in the sector wheel for maximum speed transfer, this ensures the highest possible cadence compared to high torque ones
