TAC-41/SRS Piston Cup – Polycarbonate Precision Airbrake Kit (x7)
An airbrake creates an air cushion just before the piston meets the cylinder head, dramatically reducing the impact noise of bolt-action replicas. When properly tuned, it delivers strong sound reduction with minimal or no loss in muzzle energy.
This new generation replaces the former three-piece aluminum set with seven finely graduated airbrakes (XXS–XXL) in reinforced polycarbonate—a tough, precise engineering plastic offering strength and reliability on par with the previous aluminum design. All sizes come on a single sprue for easy selection and quick testing.

How to choose
• Chronograph your rifle with all 7 lengths.
• Expect a curve that starts with a stable plateau before dropping off sharply (see example chart).
• Pick the longest airbrake that does not reduce power (in the example it’s 12 mm; your setup may vary).

Compatibility

• Original TAC-41 piston
• Variable mass piston for SRS
• Variable mass piston for TAC-41

Not compatible with:

• TAC-41 GBB hop-up & cylinder head
• early SRS A1 pistons
