Some parts of Specna Arms' CORE™ lightweight machine guns have been made from polymer to reduce weight and increase the practicality of the weapon. Polymer parts include: the body, stock, dust cover, front sight with mounting base, magazine and handguard.

The metal parts are then the remaining parts such as the forearm with RIS rails, the outer barrel, magazine holder or compensator. Then a few steel parts: the bipod, outer barrel lock, stock support, bow, transport handle, stock tube, transport handle, as well as all the pins.

The implementation of the ESA™ quick-change spring system allows the replica's performance to be quickly adjusted to the conditions expected on the field without having to open the gearbox. The spring change process literally takes mere seconds - just remove a single pin, pull back the stock latch and remove the spring stem and spring through the gearbox hole.
