Protective goggles and masks are essential equipment for airsoft players to ensure safe play at airsoft events. Protective goggles are a necessity on airsoft fields, and most importantly a must for participation in the event! That is why goggles are the most important item in your arsenal of tactical equipment. Protective masks, besides the eyes, also protect the rest of the face and teeth. What's best for me, goggles, mask or a combination of goggles and half mask?

Eye protection is a fundamental part of airsoft without which you can't play, no doubt about it. A small six millimetre BB can cause a lot of damage when it hits your teeth or eyes... How and with what to protect yourself from this kind of injuries? What is a mesh mask and how does it differ from a full-face mask, or is a more expensive mask from Cygnus worth it? What to look out for when choosing airsoft goggles? How to make my goggles not fog up? We'll take a look at it all in this category.
Certification and standards for safety goggles All safety goggles and masks offered by us are certified as: CE EN166 and its types, ANSI Z87.1+ and others. So whatever you buy is certified, tested and therefore safe for the game of airsoft!
Protective goggles are simply an essential for every airsoft player! The highly durable glass of the goggles is the only thing that protects the eyes against airsoft BB injuries. Airsoft goggles are often equipped with a visor that has a special anti-fog coating (Antifog) and adjustable straps to prevent the goggles from falling off your head during the game. Only goggles equipped with full-frame glass provide the best protection, from injury! Avoid goggles that use a mesh material as a protective layer!
Attention! BB fragments can get into the eyes through the holes in the wire goggles, resulting in serious eye injuries! Only use certified, solid lens goggles!
In the masks category, you will find full-face masks suitable for both airsoft and paintball. They are usually made of durable materials such as high-impact plastic and provide complete facial protection - covering the eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth, teeth and ears. The most important feature is the mask visor, which is usually made of polycarbonate - a hard or semi-hard protective plastic to withstand the impact of fast-moving paintball or airsoft BBs. The visor, as with goggles, is often coated with an anti-fog coating to maintain a clear sight. More expensive versions are fitted with thermal glass.
Half masks offer additional protection for the lower part of the face. These masks are primarily made of textile fabric and critical areas are protected by wire mesh - usually stainless or carbon steel or equivalent iron alloy. Their most basic function is to protect the mouth and teeth area - but certain designs also offer ear, cheek, nose or upper neck and chin protection (various models of traditional half masks). These areas are protected by expanded metal wire mesh or reinforced fabric material.
By goggle and mask accessories, we can imagine all kinds of cleaning kits, all care for masks and goggles, micro wipes, antifog sprays, cleaning sprays or accessories for preventing scratches on the lenses such as cases or microfibre bags.
