Full face masks for airsoft

Full-face masks protect both the eyes and the rest of the face, including the teeth. Full-face masks are not mandatory for playing airsoft. On the other hand, for playing paintball, these masks are required on many fields! Full-face masks in airsoft are mainly suitable for beginners, for speedsofters or for CQB events. What is the difference between a thermal and a non-thermal mask? Find out below!

Thermal masks for airsoft

Full-face thermal goggles (heat) have a double visor that greatly reduces fogging during play. The visor consists of two separate panes of glass, which are usually separated by an adhesive foam seal that surrounds the outer edge. Between the inner and outer visor there is a free air space that balances the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the mask, thus preventing or drastically preventing condensation (fogging) from forming.

Airsoft Non-thermal Masks

Full-face single goggles (non-thermal) masks, unlike thermal masks, have a visor with only one pane of glass, which does nothing to regulate temperature and condensation formation - this is a major disadvantage of non-thermal masks. Frankly, the only advantage of non-thermal masks is the price, which is lower compared to thermal.
