Tappet Plate

Tappet Plates or nozzle arms are most often made of injection moulded plastic. Their function is to allow the hop up chamber to be unlocked and locked by the movement of the nozzle.

As the wheels move, tappet plate moves backwards to allow one ball from the hop up chamber to enter the chamber. When the pressure on the arm is released by the wheels, it moves forward due to a spring that is in the front of the mechabox under the cylinder.

Like most parts, the arms are split for V3 or V2 mechaboxes, but there are also special ones, for example for use with DSG wheels.
