What does II. quality mean?
Products in the second quality category are 100% functional, but they may have a minor defect that does not affect the functionality of the product itself. Each product is inspected and only then released for sale.
All defects are individually mentioned for each product.
The products of the second quality category also come with a 2-year warranty.
In this category, you'll find a wide selection of high-quality mounts and rails for airsoft red dot sights. Every shooter has specific mounting needs, whether it's for an assault rifle, submachine gun, or pistol. Our range includes riser mounts, offset mounts, pistol mounts, and specialized mounts like the Hydra – designed for combining a red dot sight with a PEQ unit.
Unlike scopes, most red dot sights come with built-in mounting systems straight out of the box. These systems typically allow for attachment to weapons via RIS (Rail Interface System) rails. In this category, you'll find mounts suitable for all types of red dot sights – tubular, holographic, pistol, and open sights. Exceptions include sights like the Aimpoint, which require ring mounts similar to those used for scopes.

While integrated mounts on red dot sights are often sufficient, there are scenarios where they might not be ideal. For instance, when a shooter needs the sight positioned very low – as with the P90 or AKSU – or when mounting the sight above iron sights or offset from the rifle's axis.
Many high-quality red dot sights come with additional low-profile mounts. Swapping the original mount for a lower one is usually straightforward, involving the removal of the existing rail using an Allen key and installing the new mount. Examples of such sights include the Maverick and Centurion from Vector Optics, among others.
However, there may be situations where specialized rails are necessary.
A red dot sight consists of two main components: the sight body and the mounting rail. The mounting rail determines the height, shape, and additional functions, allowing the sight to be securely attached to the weapon.
Some red dot sight models allow for the removal of the original mount, enabling the installation of alternative mounts – whether lower, higher, or offset. This process typically involves unscrewing the mount from the bottom of the sight using an Allen key or standard screws. The rails have designated holes for this purpose.
Additionally, some mounts feature a RIS system on the top, allowing for the attachment of other accessories compatible with RIS rails, such as Eotech sights.
There are two main types of riser mounts:
1. Simple Riser Rails: These are standalone rails that act as intermediaries between the weapon and the original red dot sight mount. They can be used for both red dot sights and scopes. However, this setup can result in a bulkier assembly.
2. Specialized Mounts: These are designed for specific red dot sight models. The original mount is removed, and the sight body is attached directly to a new, higher or lower mount. This approach is common with sights like the T1, T2, MRO, RMR, MOJ, and Frenzy-S from Vector Optics, as well as models from Wosport.

Low-profile mounts function similarly to riser mounts but are designed to position the sight closer to the weapon's bore axis. High-quality manufacturers, like Vector Optics, often include both high and low mounts with their red dot sights, providing flexibility based on the shooter's preference.
As the name suggests, these mounts are designed to be installed directly onto the slide of a pistol, allowing for the attachment of a pistol-compatible red dot sight. It's crucial to ensure compatibility between the mount, the pistol model, and the red dot sight. Some setups also involve "charging handle kits" that feature a standard RIS rail, accommodating red dot sights designed for traditional RIS systems.
Hydra mounts are a recent innovation, offering a futuristic appearance that might not appeal to everyone. However, they excel in combining a red dot sight with a PEQ or laser unit. The Hydra mount is inherently tall, serving as a riser for the red dot sight. Its front section, slightly elevated above the rifle, is typically used to install a PEQ, creating additional space for other accessories and ensuring an unobstructed view through the red dot sight.
Firearms like the Kalashnikov series (AK, SVD, VSS Vintorez, etc.) traditionally lack integrated RIS rails, unlike many modern weapons. Instead, they feature a standard side mount on the left side of the receiver.
This mount accommodates specialized Russian optics, such as the PSO-1 or Kobra red dot sights, which come with integrated mounts compatible with this system.
For those looking to equip their AK or SVD with Western optics or red dot sights, there are mounts available that attach to the side mount and feature a standard RIS rail on top, allowing for broader compatibility.
Among specialized mounts, offset mounts stand out. These are typically installed directly onto a RIS rail at a 45-degree angle. While more common in real firearms due to ballistic trajectory considerations, they can also be used in airsoft scenarios. Offset mounts position the red dot sight to the side of the rifle, allowing for quick transitions between optics, especially when the primary optic is a magnified scope unsuitable for close-quarters engagements.
Another specialized option includes adjustable mounts that can be vertically adjusted to align with other optics, such as magnifiers. These mounts are essential for achieving the correct sight picture and ensuring co-witnessing between different optical devices.
Whether you're upgrading or customizing your weapon, our extensive selection of mounts ensures you'll find the perfect solution for your setup!
