Specification

Like the other Specna Arms replica lines, the Edge line has been enhanced with a new HAL ETU that offers everything you would expect from a ETU. Adjustable firing modes, active brake, or Li-Po alarm are some of the many features the processor unit is capable of (detailed description below).

A replica of the US M16A4 assault rifle used by the Marine Corps. The replica has a 20-inch outer barrel, 11.5-inch RIS grip, detachable transport handle and fixed stock.

HAL Processor unit

• Magnetic trigger based on Hall effect
• Optical cycle detection
• Adjustable trigger sensitivity - 5 levels - 20 - 100%
• Binary trigger - gun fires when trigger is pulled and released
• Active brake - when using weak springs, inconsistency can occur when firing single shots, such as when a replica fires twice on one trigger pull - active brake solves this problem by stopping the motor after each shot
• Piston pre-cocking - 6 levels - Piston pre-cocking improves trigger response by leaving the piston in one of the preset rear positions after each shot. This means that with each shot, the motor does not have to retract and then release the piston, it just releases it.
• Li-Po alarm - if the charge of the used Li-Po or Li-Ion battery drops below 5.0V, the gun will vibrate and emit audible signals
• Programmable firing modes - Automatic, 3-shot, 5-shot, semi-automatic
• ''AUG'' mode - when the trigger is pulled the weapon fires semi-automatic, when the trigger is fully pulled the weapon fires fully-automatic.
