Airsoft Battery Safety Bags

What is a Battery Safety Bag?

Battery safety bags are one of the most important accessories for anyone using Li-Po batteries These fiberglass bags are designed to be used during both charging and storage, keeping you and your surroundings safe from potential fires. Thanks to the non-flammable lining, any battery fire is smothered inside the bag, meaning the battery may be lost, but nothing else will burn. If you own multiple batteries, it's a good idea to store them separately or in pairs, so a single failure doesn't ruin them all.

How to use a Battery Safety Bag?

Open the bag and place the battery inside while it's connected to the charger. Run the cables through the side opening near the Velcro flap. Keep the battery inside the bag for the entire charging period.

Warning! Even when using a safety bag, always monitor the battery during charging and place it on a non-flammable surface.

Avoid areas like carpets, beds, or sofas.

Safety bags can also be used for battery storage, helping to protect against fire caused by physical damage or internal short circuits—especially while transporting batteries in a backpack.

Tips for Using Battery Safety Bags

-Never charge a damaged battery, even if it's inside a safety bag.

-Inspect your safety bag regularly—if it’s torn or starting to deteriorate, replace it immediately.

-When traveling, keep the safety bag in an easily accessible location so you can remove it quickly in an emergency.

-Don’t store anything else in the bag with the battery that might damage it.

What is Li-Pol Safe Box Made Of?

Safety bags are made from fire-resistant materials, typically fiberglass, which can withstand temperatures of up to 500–600 °C (932–1112 °F).

Most Li-Pol safety bags for airsoft batteries also feature an outer aluminum layer, which slows down the spread of heat and flames. Premium models include a double-layered interior lining for extra protection against heat and pressure.

The bag is usually sealed with a Velcro flap or buckle, helping to contain any fire or explosion and prevent flames from escaping.
