Adulto is a certified Adult Verification System. We verify the age of customers through bank identity, login via MojeID, login via citizen identity, or verification of identity documents. As an official contractual partner of Bankovní identita, a.s., we provide age verification for clients of Air Bank, Banka CREDITAS, Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, Fio banka, Komerční banka, mBank, MONETA Money Bank, Partners Banka, Raiffeisenbank, and UniCredit Bank. We are a member of the APEK association.
Adulto.cz holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27566 security certifications, which guarantee that no personal information can be misused by third parties.
We use our machine processing of identity documents to verify the age of customers from uploaded or captured photos of ID cards or driver's licenses valid in the EU. It is a sophisticated system that recognizes the type of document with 97% accuracy, verifies its validity, and determines the age of the document holder. What's more, it is constantly learning.
A similar system has long been used by banks for extracting and verifying identity documents. The system is secure and the document is deleted after processing.

NIA (National Identification and Authentication Point) is a qualified system under the Electronic Identification Act No. 250/2017 Coll.
Users can use the NIA to access their citizen identity.
Only sellers of psychomodulatory substances pursuant to Section 16c of Act No. 65/2017 Coll. are currently authorized to use the NIA system.
Adulto will technically connect the authorized entity to the NIA system for the purpose of age verification in accordance with the law.
Which goods require verification via Adulto.cz?
- On our website, this verification is currently only required for alcohol and pyrotechnics.
Is it necessary to verify age for every purchase of pyrotechnics?
- Yes, but once you verify your age through Adulto.cz, age verification is that much easier.
I don't want to verify my age using Adulto.cz. What should I do?
- Adulto.cz is a reliable method of age verification. However, if you still wish to choose a different method, please contact us and we will verify your age in another way. Unfortunately, verification is required by law.
What information does Adulto.cz store?
- Adulto.cz only stores your date of birth. No other data, including your name, is stored.
