CNC Standard bearings 8mm

Sliding bearings with a diameter of 8mm (8.02mm) made by precision CNC turning, made of high quality steel 90MnCrV8, heat treated (hardened) to a hardness of 58 - 60HRC and tempered to remove stress. The high quality steel together with the resulting hardness predetermines the use of bearings on the strongest springs while maintaining a long service life. Gear meshes must be sufficiently lubricated with grease to prevent seizure and reduce friction.

The bearings have a standard height, the diameter is increased by 0.02mm to prevent them from rotating in the mechabox holes. For mounting plain bearings, we recommend using a bearing lapping jig. In our experience, it is not necessary (in most cases) to fix plain bearings by gluing.
