Fenix RCR123A / 16340 Rechargable USB Battery

The rechargeable Li-ion battery is characterized by high capacity, does not suffer from memory effect and does not suffer from self-discharge.

The added electronic circuits prevent overcharging the cell, over-discharging it, and preventing it from short-circuiting too much power. If the battery electronics assess that the limits have been reached, they safely disconnect the cell. 

The battery is also equipped with PTC thermal protection and an anti-explosion valve. In the event of overpressure, the exothermic reaction is interrupted and the valve releases the overpressure outside the battery. 

A micro-USB cable is used for power supply. It is plugged in from the side connector, during charging the indicator light is red and when charging starts to glow blue. 

The combination of electronic and mechanical protection makes these batteries one of the safest.
