The Specna Arms x KPYK SA-PJ15 PRIME™ Aster II ETU BLDC™ is an electric airsoft carbine (AEG) for players who want a modern AK with a solid steel build and internals that already feel like a tuned custom build right from the factory.

It is the result of cooperation between Specna Arms and KPYK, a Ukrainian company specialising in modern firearm accessories for AK-platform rifles. This gives you a replica that combines a realistic metal feel, tactical external parts and advanced electronics in the form of the GATE ASTER II processor unit.

Construction and Materials – Steel Build with Modern KPYK Design

The SA-PJ15 PRIME™ is largely made from steel, so it feels robust and solid in your hands:

• Steel parts include the dust cover, outer barrel, key barrel components, trigger guard, magazine catch, selector lever, QD socket on the stock, gas tube and structural parts of the stock.

Aluminium is used where you want strength but less weight:

• Iron sights

With a muzzle velocity of around 430 FPS with 0.20 g BBs, this replica is aimed mainly at outdoor play, offering strong range and impact. As always, you must adjust the spring and power to match your local field limits.

The rifle is powered by the Specna Arms DarkMatter™ High Speed 27–35K brushless motor:

Electronics are managed by the GATE ASTER II processor unit. This is an advanced control unit that:

• Works with both brushless and brushed motors.

• Offers adjustable active brake from 0 to 100%.

• Provides pre-cocking (levels 0–5) and de-cocking – for a faster first shot and more gentle operation on the spring and gears.

• Has a low battery warning to protect your battery from over-discharge.

• Uses about 20 mA in operation and only 130 µA in low power mode.

• Supports use of a mechanical trigger safety.

• Features improved cycle detection.

• Uses a multi-layer PCB with an EMC shield for better protection against interference.

• Allows full trigger adjustment, including the reset point.

• Works with the GCS app, which lets you perform firmware updates via the Internet and unlock new features over time.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.2, you can connect the ASTER II processor unit to your phone or even a smartwatch to adjust settings and view replica telemetry without opening the rifle.

The box includes two additional springs:

• M90 – for lower power, ideal for fields with stricter FPS limits or closer-range games.

• M135 – for higher power, if permitted by local rules.
