The Machos CNC Mount with Adapter for OWLSET ARGON is a modular mounting system designed to attach the OWLSET ARGON ES 1.2×10 thermal imaging monocular to NVG/DOVETAIL helmet platforms. It features a precision CNC-machined 6061 aluminum construction complemented by a special 3D-printed PETG adapter reinforced with carbon fiber, ensuring a secure yet lightweight mount for the device.

The system is part of the M.A.C.H.O.S. (Mission Adaptive Combat Helmet Optics System) platform, which is designed for maximum modularity and allows not only the use of a single thermal imager but also the configuration of two devices simultaneously (bino setup) or a combination with NVG. The mount is compatible with Wilcox L3/L4G24 dovetail rails and their replicas, making it a universal solution for helmet-mounted optical systems.

Construction and Materials:
The foundation is a durable CNC-machined aluminum construction that minimizes play and ensures stability even during dynamic movement. Key connecting elements are made of lightweight carbon-fiber-reinforced PETG polymer, which helps reduce weight while maintaining sufficient strength for daily use in the field.
