QUANSHENG UV-K5 (8) / UV-K6, VHF/UHF, USB charging

The Quansheng UV-K5 redefines affordable amateur radio. It transmits and receives on VHF/UHF dual bands (TX/RX 136–174 MHz & 400–469 MHz) and unlocks a massive 50–600 MHz receive range—including Air-band (108–135.975 MHz AM) and FM broadcast (76–108 MHz). A backlit display and tactile keypad with pre-named PMR1–PMR16 plus nine UHF/ five VHF custom channels make operation effortless.

Switch TX power between LOW/MID/HIGH (up to 5 W) and select tuning steps from 2.5 kHz to 25 kHz. Advanced safety features include automatic/manual emergency alerts, 8-Group Scrambler, DCS/CTCSS scanning, DTMF & 1750 Hz tone, VOX hands-free, 200 memory channels and power-on password lock. Clone full channel settings wirelessly or program via PC with an optional USB cable.

A robust 1 600 mAh Li-Ion battery (7.2 V) powers extended field operations, rechargeable both via the built-in Type-C port and supplied 230 V desktop charger. An integrated high-luminosity torch completes this all-in-one package.

The Quansheng UV-K5 features a universal Kenwood connector for external mics, headsets, or PTT buttons—ensuring seamless compatibility with proven accessories.
