The Specna Arms SA-E22 EDGE™ HAL² ETU Gen. 2 is a modern electric airsoft carbine (AEG) for players who want a reliable, solid-feeling rifle with smart electronics, a sensitive trigger and the option to fine-tune everything via a mobile app.

The EDGE™ Gen. 2 line was designed to offer, straight from the factory, what used to require upgrades: a 6.03 mm precision barrel, improved air-seal parts, a reinforced Æther™ gearbox and the advanced HAL²™ electronic unit with magnetic trigger sensing and Bluetooth® connectivity.

With an output of about 380 FPS, this replica is aimed mainly at outdoor games, where you will appreciate good range, stable BB flight and fast trigger response.

Smart HAL²™ electronics + Specna Link™ app

The heart of this rifle is the HAL²™ system, which uses a magnetic Hall sensor on the trigger. This allows extremely fine trigger adjustment (hundreds of sensitivity points), and at the same time is resistant to dust and light.

Thanks to Bluetooth® and the Specna Link™ mobile app (Android / iOS), you can set up the rifle’s behavior without opening the gun or programming through the trigger.

In the app you can:

• adjust trigger sensitivity – from a longer pull to an ultra-short “click”,

• enable pre-cocking for faster shot response,

• choose fire modes – SINGLE, BINARY, BURST (SERIAL) or FULL AUTO and assign them to selector positions,

• set burst length (number of shots),

• adjust rate of fire (ROF),

• enable LiPo / Li-Ion low-voltage protection,

• use magazine mode (simulation of an empty magazine),

• monitor battery level and telemetry data (performance over time),

• save different profiles for various game styles or for multiple replicas.

Just connect, open the app and you have full control over how your replica behaves – no tech bench needed.

Reinforced Æther™ gearbox – built for durability

Inside you’ll find the reinforced Æther™ gearbox, designed for higher stress and long-term use.

Key points:

• reinforced shell in critical areas,

• inspection windows for checking AoE and spring preload,

• window for easier motor pinion adjustment,

• trigger adjustment function in combination with HAL²™.

Internal / air-seal parts:

• polymer piston with full steel rack,

• bearing spring guide,

• sealed polymer piston head with bearing,

• aluminium cylinder,

• double-sealed aluminium cylinder head,

All this gives you stable performance, good air seal and lower risk of damage even under heavy use.

Precision barrel and modern hop-up

To keep shots consistent and accurate, the SA-E22 comes with:

• a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel (approx. 375 mm),

• a rotary TDC Magnus hop-up unit for fine and repeatable adjustment,

• a Helium™ flat hop nub / bucking, which stabilises the BB’s backspin.

For you as a player, this means straighter trajectories and more consistent hits, especially at medium to longer ranges.

Mostly metal body and comfortable handling

The SA-E22 EDGE™ Gen. 2 has a metal receiver with Specna Arms markings and a unique serial number, giving it a solid, realistic feel.

Ergonomic features:

• M-LOK handguard – easy mounting of lights, vertical or angled grips, lasers and other accessories,

• top RIS rail – for optics and red dot sights,

• flip-up sights – usable as backup sights with optics,

Most structural parts are metal; the stock, pistol grip and sights are made from durable polymer.

ESA™ quick spring change system

The rifle features the ESA™ quick spring change system.

What that means in practice:

• you don’t need to open the entire gearbox,

• you remove the spring guide and swap the main spring,

• you can easily adjust FPS to different field limits (outdoor / CQB).

In the box you also get an extra M90 spring, useful when you need to lower the power for stricter fields or indoor games.
