The Specna Arms SA-E23 EDGE™ HAL² ETU Gen. 2 is a modern electric airsoft carbine (AEG) designed to combine solid construction, upgraded internals and advanced electronics into one ready-to-play package. You get a factory replica that doesn’t need immediate upgrades and can handle intensive airsoft use.

With a muzzle velocity of around 380 FPS, this model is aimed at regular outdoor games, offering a good balance of range, accuracy and reliability in a compact carbine format.

HAL²™ smart electronics + Specna Link™ app

At the heart of the SA-E23 is the HAL²™ electronic system, which uses a magnetic Hall-effect trigger sensor. This brings:

• extremely fine trigger sensitivity adjustment (up to about 500 points),

• fast and crisp trigger response,

• resistance to dirt and external light.

The HAL²™ unit is compatible with standard triggers, so you can further personalise the rifle by swapping the trigger itself.

A built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy module provides an easy and stable connection to your smartphone while keeping battery consumption low. Just power on the replica, connect in the app and you can immediately configure the settings.

Using the free Specna Link™ app (Google Play / App Store), you can access all HAL²™ features:

• adjust trigger sensitivity,

• enable pre-cocking for faster response when pressing the trigger,

• choose fire modes: SINGLE, BINARY, BURST (SERIAL) or FULL AUTO and assign them to selector positions,

• set burst length (number of shots per burst),

• adjust rate of fire (ROF),

• activate LiPo/Li-Ion low-voltage protection,

• enable magazine mode (simulated empty mag),

• see battery charge continuously displayed,

• save complete profiles for different game modes or multiple replicas,

• monitor advanced telemetry data and track the replica’s status in real time.

You tune the rifle’s behaviour without opening the gun or doing trigger-based programming – everything is handled from your phone.

Reinforced Æther™ gearbox and internals

The SA-E23 uses a reinforced Æther™ V2 gearbox shell, covered by a European patent and designed for higher durability and easier inspection.

Key features of the gearbox shell:

• anti-reversal release window,

• inspection windows for pre-cocking and AoE (angle of engagement),

• reinforcement of the most stressed areas,

• motor pinion inspection window,

• trigger adjustment function,

• additional screw holes for precise shell alignment.

Inside you will find:

• polymer piston with full steel jaw,

• bearing polymer spring guide,

• sealed polymer piston head with bearing,

• aluminium cylinder,

• double-sealed aluminium cylinder head,

• set of steel gears,

• 8 mm bearings.

This combination provides good air seal, stable FPS and increased durability, even under prolonged use.

Precision barrel and TDC Magnus hop-up

For accuracy and consistent shots, the SA-E23 comes with:

• a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel (approx. 240 mm),

• a rotary TDC Magnus Hop-Up chamber (Top Down Center),

• a Helium™ flat-hop nub / bucking, which stabilises the BB’s backspin and flight.

The shorter 240 mm barrel works well in a compact carbine: the rifle stays manoeuvrable in tighter spaces while still benefiting from the precision barrel and quality hop-up system.

Construction, ergonomics and accessory mounting

The Specna Arms SA-E23 EDGE™ HAL² ETU Gen. 2 is a rugged and ergonomic black airsoft carbine.

Materials and markings:

• the main body is made from metal,

• the stock, pistol grip and some external parts are made from durable polymer,

• the rifle features Specna Arms markings and an individual serial number.

Ergonomic and mounting features:

• M-LOK handguard – allows mounting of tactical accessories like flashlights, vertical or angled grips, laser pointers and more,

• top RIS rail – suitable for optics and red dot sights,

• flip-up sights on the rear section of the rifle,

• QD pistol grip – quick access to the motor without tools,

• ambidextrous sling mounting point for a tactical sling.

The barrel uses a 14 mm CCW thread, which is the common standard for mounting airsoft suppressors or other muzzle devices.

ESA™ quick spring change system

This replica features the ESA™ quick spring change system, which allows you to:

• change the main spring without opening the gearbox shell,

• adjust the power of the replica to different field FPS limits,

• find the ideal compromise between performance and safety for yourself and other players.

You simply remove the spring guide in the stock area to access and swap the spring – no need to pull the gearbox out of the receiver.

An extra M90 spring is included in the box, letting you easily lower the FPS for stricter sites or indoor-style games (if they allow this power).
