Why is a protective mask so important in airsoft?

Is a paintball mask a good alternative to goggles and a face mask?

Some players prefer full-face protection, not just for the mouth. In that case, paintball masks are a great choice. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Disadvantages of paintball masks

• they don't look military enough
• they are heavier
• poorer compatibility with a helmet

Even so, this is the safest option for face protection. We recommend paintball masks especially for the youngest beginners, as there is a risk that regular glasses might slip off their noses or unpleasant, painful injuries to the face.
