The ASG Ultimate 8 mm Steel Ball Bearings (Gen. 2) are designed for compatible 8 mm gearboxes and developed to meet the demands of modern AEG builds. Created in cooperation with bearing specialists, they offer high precision, minimal tolerance play, and strong durability under increased load.

Each bearing contains 7 larger steel balls, which are better suited to handling higher stress. Compared to bearings with a greater number of smaller balls, this design is more robust under load and less sensitive to heat generated during operation. The material surface has also been optimized to dissipate heat efficiently while maintaining excellent durability.

Thanks to these characteristics, the bearings are especially suitable for high-speed upgrade setups. When increasing the performance of an AEG, the gear bearings are one of the key components, as they take part of the load transferred from the gears. Replacing weaker stock bearings with quality steel ball bearings is therefore an important step toward better gearbox reliability and long-term performance.

These bearings are suitable for Version 2, Version 2.5, Version 3, and other gearbox shells with the correct 8 mm bearing seats.
