The parts are made from Dupont Zytel High-Performance Reinforced Polymer, a strong reinforced polymer that offers low weight and long service life. This helps keep the platform lightweight while avoiding unnecessary bulk on the slim CMR rail profile.
The rail covers feature a unique golf ball style texture, which improves grip security and handling comfort. They are designed to keep the lowest profile possible, and their shape matches the ventilation cuts of the rail. On the back, they also feature score lines, allowing the user to cut them down to a shorter length if needed for a custom setup.
The set also includes a hand stop with the same textured surface for a more secure hold. It helps keep the support hand in the correct position and improves control of the rifle. It mounts with a single screw and its design matches the rail covers so both pieces blend together cleanly.
Installation is simple and mounts directly to the PTS CMR M-LOK handguard using screws, without the need for back plates or dismantling the rail itself.
